2. What data we may process
When you contact Fontnautic, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, the content of your enquiry and, where applicable, information about a boat, purchase preferences or data needed to prepare and manage a transaction or service. The server may also generate technical security and operating logs.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Responding to enquiries and requests: to respond to the request made and, where applicable, take pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject.
- Manage a contractual or professional relationship: performance of the contract and compliance with related legal obligations.
- Security, prevention of abuse and defence of rights: legitimate interest applied proportionately and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
- Marketing communications: sending an enquiry does not in itself create a marketing subscription. If promotional communications are sent, they must rely on a valid legal basis and provide the appropriate right to object or withdraw.
4. Retention
Data is retained for as long as necessary to deal with the request or maintain the relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required for legal, tax or accounting obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. No single artificial period is set here because it depends on the nature of each relationship.
5. Recipients and service providers
Fontnautic does not sell personal data to advertisers. Providers necessary for hosting, email, security, support, professional advice, yacht documentation or other professionals involved in a transaction may have access, subject to the obligations required by law.
Where a provider involves an international transfer of data, a valid legal basis and appropriate safeguards must exist under the applicable regulations.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Protected forms use Cloudflare Turnstile as an anti-bot measure. The browser performs security checks and our server validates the generated token with Cloudflare before accepting the submission.

6. Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent previously given without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise them, write to alberto@fontnautic.com. If you believe the processing infringes the applicable rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
7. Automated decisions
The website does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on a person based solely on automated processing of submitted forms.
8. Minors
The yachting services offered are not specifically directed at minors. Where a transaction requires contractual capacity or representation, the corresponding legal rules will apply.
9. Security
Technical and organisational measures are applied to protect confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience. No system connected to the Internet can guarantee zero risk.
10. Updates
This policy will be updated when processing activities, providers or applicable requirements change materially. The date shown on this page corresponds to the latest actual review recorded in the website configuration.
